Connected my iphone 4 to computer,itunes asked me to upgrade to new ios 4.2.1,went through the whole process then failed at last moment, with (error 1013),tried to kick it out of recovery mode with (recboot),also tiny umbrella,even removed from windows directory gs.apple.com, all to no avail,any ideas how to get out of recovery mode and get the upgrade ios 4.2.1 *

Plug into itunes and do a restore. If that fail's then try this.......
1) Download, tiny umbrella, and press 'save shsh' b*tton when phone is hooked up. (this will verify if you have any shsh's below 4.2.1. (tell us which one's)
2) Download IREB and a custom firmware 4.2.1 for iphone 4.
3) Then put phone into pwned DFU mode using IREB
4) press the 'start tss' server in tiny umbrella, and open itunes. (umbrella running in background)
5) press 'shift+ restore b*tton' Or 'option + restore if using a Mac' and select the 4.2.1ipsw that you downloaded.
